Heidi Klum Designs for New Balance

Supermodel and “Project Runway” host Heidi Klum has teamed up with New Balance to create a sportswear collection, Women’s Wear Daily reported this morning. The collection, called Heidi Klum for New Balance, which will be sold exclusively on Amazon.com starting next month.

The collection will include leggings, tops and outerwear with a price range of $32 to $168.

Although it’s not uncommon for celebrities to work with clothing companies, Klum has an especially diverse history of such collaborations. Her past projects include footwear for Birkenstock, jewelry for Mouawad, denim for Jordache and maternity lines for A Pea in a Pod and Motherhood Maternity.

Heidi Klum to produce “Seriously Funny Kids”

It seems that Heidi Klum is producing a new reality series called Seriously Funny Kids. She’ll do the show in conjunction with LMNO Productions, which produced Bill Cosby’s Kids Say the Darndest Things.

According to Variety, Klum’s new project will travel to kid-centric locations and film tykes’ reactions to various scenarios. Klum and LMNO are currently shopping Kids to networks.

`Project Runway’ Season 8 premieres July 29

Project Runaway is returning to New York City on July 29 and it is also moving to an earlier time slot: 9 p.m. instead of 10 p.m. Plus there will be 30 minutes more drama each week, which this season is set to include ample tears and ambulance visits for three contestants who collapsed on the set.

“We never had that happen before,” said Heidi Klum.

Heidi Klum said the designers keep the show interesting.

“We are not like other shows where we are styling them to look a certain way or feeding them lines,” she said. “It’s all real, and people like that.”

Lifetime Expands “Project Runway” to an Hour and a Half for Season 8

Heidi Klum dropped the news to the L.A. Times:

“If something ridiculous does happen, we’re not going to turn the camera off and not air it,” says Klum. “But we don’t instigate anything; we don’t cast people just because they’re funny. They have to be good designers. That’s the No. 1 priority for our show, and I think that’s why it’s lasted so long.”

“I’ll give you a little inside scoop. We’re going to have more time next season,” she announces. How will they manage that? “We’re going to make the show an hour and a half long,” adding a half hour to the running time. “It’s for all the people out there who need to know just a little bit more of what’s going on.”

Heidi Klum & Seal: Love’s Divine?

It seems that Heidi Klum and Seal will be new reality tv stars!

Heidi Klum and Seal are in talking with Lifetime for a new reality show, tentatively called Love’s Divine. The couple will travel across America and will counsel troubled couples about all things love and marriage.

The project is still in early stages and is one of the two spinoffs from the “Project Runway” universe.

The other project, in later stages of development but as-yet-untitled, will star noted former contestants Santino Rice (most recently a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race) and Austin Scarlett. The series will follow Rice (2nd Runner-up, Project Runway season 2) and Scarlett (4th place, season 1) as they tour the country helping women in desperate need of a fashion makeover.
