The 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy nominations were just announced. And Heidi Klum snagged her nomination as Outstanding Host For A Reality Or Reality-Competition Program for Project Runway!

Plus, the show itself got a nomination for Outstanding Reality – Competition Program.

It seems that Heidi Klum is producing a new reality series called Seriously Funny Kids. She’ll do the show in conjunction with LMNO Productions, which produced Bill Cosby’s Kids Say the Darndest Things.

According to Variety, Klum’s new project will travel to kid-centric locations and film tykes’ reactions to various scenarios. Klum and LMNO are currently shopping Kids to networks.

Project Runaway is returning to New York City on July 29 and it is also moving to an earlier time slot: 9 p.m. instead of 10 p.m. Plus there will be 30 minutes more drama each week, which this season is set to include ample tears and ambulance visits for three contestants who collapsed on the set.

“We never had that happen before,” said Heidi Klum.

Heidi Klum said the designers keep the show interesting.

“We are not like other shows where we are styling them to look a certain way or feeding them lines,” she said. “It’s all real, and people like that.”

Heidi Klum dropped the news to the L.A. Times:

“If something ridiculous does happen, we’re not going to turn the camera off and not air it,” says Klum. “But we don’t instigate anything; we don’t cast people just because they’re funny. They have to be good designers. That’s the No. 1 priority for our show, and I think that’s why it’s lasted so long.”

“I’ll give you a little inside scoop. We’re going to have more time next season,” she announces. How will they manage that? “We’re going to make the show an hour and a half long,” adding a half hour to the running time. “It’s for all the people out there who need to know just a little bit more of what’s going on.”

Today the birthday of a friend whom I admire enormously, Heidi Klum , not just for her commercial success but also for her caring about others e.g her support of Nomad Two Worlds and Telethon Institute for Child Health Research .
