Gearing up for an all-new go round on her hit competition show, Heidi Klum was all smiles at the Season 8 premiere party for “Project Runway” in New York City on Wednesday night (July 28).

Heidi joined alongside the many involved with the fashionable series, as the festivities took place at the swanky Empire Hotel.

As for “Project Runway,” Heidi Klum & Co. return to the Lifetime network at 9pm tonight (July 29) to show off the new cast of designing hopefuls.

This time around, the contestants are more diverse than ever, with seventeen men and women – young and not-so-young – competing for the top prize.

Heidi Klum has praised former Project Runway contestant Christian Siriano for having a “business mind” and always remembering to keep in touch.

The supermodel – who hosts and judges the Lifetime show – has revealed that season four winner Siriano never forgets to send her clothes and promote his work.

“It’s not due to me disliking some of the other designs, but I think he has the most business brain of them and he doesn’t forget to send things in order for you to wear them,” she explained.

Stepping out for a promotional gig, Heidi Klum was spotted on “Good Morning America” in New York City on Monday (July 12).

Heidi, who looked beautiful as always in striped pants, gray tee and scarf, was joined by the cast of “Project Runway” for the promo spot on the morning news show.

The 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy nominations were just announced. And Heidi Klum snagged her nomination as Outstanding Host For A Reality Or Reality-Competition Program for Project Runway!

Plus, the show itself got a nomination for Outstanding Reality – Competition Program.

Project Runaway is returning to New York City on July 29 and it is also moving to an earlier time slot: 9 p.m. instead of 10 p.m. Plus there will be 30 minutes more drama each week, which this season is set to include ample tears and ambulance visits for three contestants who collapsed on the set.

“We never had that happen before,” said Heidi Klum.

Heidi Klum said the designers keep the show interesting.

“We are not like other shows where we are styling them to look a certain way or feeding them lines,” she said. “It’s all real, and people like that.”
